CIMC Vehicles has been leading the market for thirteen consecutive years, and “Only Starlink” has become a “Chinese business card” for the global semi-trailer market.

Recently, Global Trailer, a global semi-trailer industry media outlet, released its 2025 global semi-trailer manufacturer rankings. CIMC Vehicles successfully retained the top spot, achieving a remarkable 13-year streak since 2013. CIMC Vehicles once again earned international recognition for its outstanding comprehensive strength and forward-looking transoceanic operational strategy.

Notably, Vanguard Global, a subsidiary of CIMC Vehicles, successfully ranked among the top ten globally, leveraging its localized operational capabilities, deep roots in the North American market, and its flexible and reliable supply chain system. This further demonstrates the success of CIMC Vehicles Group's diversified brand strategy and transoceanic collaborative operations in mainstream global markets.

Global Trailer commented on CIMC Vehicles, stating, "CIMC Vehicles continues to lead the world, ranking first in semi-trailer production. Over the past year, CIMC Vehicles further consolidated its leadership in global semi-trailer manufacturing and significantly improved profitability. Its Starlink Project continues to optimize its domestic operations, while its global presence in North America, Europe, and Australia remains robust. Furthermore, the company is accelerating its transformation and investing in all-electric semi-trailer solutions and an integrated service ecosystem."

Specifically, CIMC Vehicles once again topped the global semi-trailer manufacturer rankings with a production volume of 102,626 units. This production volume is twice that of second-place Schmitz Cargobull (51,000 units) and 2.46 times that of third-place Hyundai Transleader (41,643 units), making it the only Chinese company to rank among the top ten global manufacturers. Furthermore, Vanguard Global, representing CIMC Vehicles' US market presence, produced 17,860 units, placing it tenth on the list.

From "Starlink + Rise" to "Only Starlink," strategic iteration leads to efficient breakthroughs.

As a global leader in semi-trailer and high-end equipment manufacturing, CIMC Vehicles is continuously expanding the global boundaries of "Made in China." Leveraging over 20 production bases worldwide, CIMC has successfully established itself as a global benchmark for China's high-end equipment manufacturing. Its consistently strong performance and expanding global presence not only demonstrate the company's competitive edge, but also set an example for high-quality development in the global high-end equipment sector for China's manufacturing industry.

In the first half of 2025, the "Starlink Project" entered its IMP2 phase, achieving initial success in its "anti-involution" efforts. By deeply tapping into the value of every link in the entire value chain, Starlink LTP Group's overall production increased by 21% year-on-year, operating profit in the Chinese market increased by 74%, and its market share in the Chinese semi-trailer market reached 23.07%, ranking first nationwide. Furthermore, based on its long-term accumulation and systematic mastery of the "hard technology" and "strict standards" of European tank trucks, CIMC Vehicles officially launched its "Champions League" series of high-end tank trucks in June 2025, marking a significant breakthrough in its "Rise Plan."

Based on the significant success of both plans, CIMC Vehicles fully upgraded them to the "Only Starlink Project" in the second half of 2025, aiming to achieve a strategic decoupling and deep restructuring of business and production organizations. This innovative organizational transformation is a key strategic move for the company to advance high-quality development and achieve global leadership. Going forward, CIMC Vehicles will accelerate the development of new-quality semi-trailer and tank truck production capacity, continuously driving industrial upgrading and value creation.

Borderless Operations: Resilient North American Market Development

In recent years, the North American market has continued to face dual challenges from both policy and demand sides. Overall industry production has declined by 24.3% year-on-year, putting pressure on the industry as a whole and leading to widespread customer delays in vehicle purchases. However, Vanguard Global, a subsidiary of CIMC Vehicles, bucked this trend, achieving a global top ten position with sales of 17,860 semi-trailers. This performance is underpinned by the company's unwavering commitment to its "Trans-Oceanic Operations, Local Manufacturing" strategy. Through the in-depth implementation of the "Great White Bear Plan," the company has strengthened local procurement and regional supply chain backup in North America, effectively mitigating trade barriers and market volatility, maintaining profitability, and demonstrating exceptional resilience.

Unlike competitors who remain heavily reliant on traditional supply chains and face capacity and cost bottlenecks, CIMC Vehicles is building a new manufacturing and supply system centered on "borderless operations." By localizing production through multiple US factories, the company has significantly enhanced its supply chain autonomy and control, effectively mitigating potential risks posed by trade barriers and geopolitical fluctuations. In particular, the upgrade of Vanguard GT Holding's governance structure and the development of a multinational manufacturing network for core components have enabled the company to develop a resilient system based on "local procurement as the primary focus, supplemented by global supply guarantees." Despite policy pressures such as anti-dumping and countervailing investigations, Vanguard Global maintained strong profitability in the first quarter, demonstrating its resilience and highlighting its structural competitive advantages. Furthermore, the company continues to strengthen its regional competitiveness by leveraging the synergies of its Vanguard Parts business and its product advantages in niche markets such as refrigerated trucks and vans.

Looking ahead, CIMC Vehicles will accelerate its evolution into a "full value chain" operator for Starlink semi-trailers. Through its third entrepreneurial venture, CIMC will transform its "transoceanic operations" into a "borderless enterprise," pursuing its dream of "pure electric head-and-trailer integrated products." CIMC is committed to being an explorer, builder, and promoter of the entire value chain, continuing to lead the world as a "Chinese business card," setting a benchmark and ushering in new chapters for high-quality development in the industry.
